Cris Ewing began his career in programming at the age of 33 after a few decades of life as a musician. More than 20 years later he's had the opportunity to be an engineer and an educator. He's served as a community leader and a conference organizer. He's given talks at conferences around the globe. And he's a grateful husband and proud father. He's currently employed as an engineering manager for Amazon Web Services, leading teams building the network infrastructure behind much of what you see and do online.

He has been using Python since 2000 and has taught thousands through live training, both online and in person.

Van Lindberg is an open source lawyer and software developer. He has been involved with Python since 1998, and spent from 2008-2023 chairing PyCon US, chairing the Python Software Foundation, or serving as the PSF’s general counsel. Since then, he has been heavily involved in the development of AI law, including arguing for the copyrightability of the first AI-generated images submitted for registration to the US Copyright Office.

Marlene is a software engineer, explorer, and speaker currently based in London. She is a Senior Developer Advocate working at Microsoft focusing on Python and AI. Marlene is a previous director and vice-chair for the Python Software Foundation and is currently serving as the vice-chair of the Association for Computing Machinery practitioner board. In 2017, she co-founded ZimboPy, a non-profit organization that gives Zimbabwean young women access to resources in the field of technology. She is also the previous chair of PyCon Africa and is an advocate for women in tech on the continent.
